Hello again, just thought I'd do a little catch up on the home scene.
Its not a very tidy garden that I have but it is so very green right now,
I love having my trees and shrubs around me.....not one for neat borders
any more I'm afraid...been there done that when gardening was my work!!
Here is my favourite little 'helper' gently sunning herself!
My old garden bench backed by my rowan tree that finally
flowered this year...not sure if there will be the red berries as I have
seen so few bees so far....that's getting a bit worrying.
One little wild red campion flower five years ago
has resulted in a whole swathe along the garden wall....
looking down the other way the rabbit run gets to be moved all over the 'lawn'
I say lawn with tongue in cheek as it is full of daisies, dandelions, plantain
you name it....actually I love it after the strict regimes of work many
...and this is the view from my little garden bench,
well, its just awful ain't it!!!
( Yep, tongue in cheek again!! :0) )
I hasten to add I haven't just been lazing around in the garden....
I've managed to get some of our local wensleydale wool dyed up,
ready to be packaged and put for sale on Folksy.
...warm sunset hues, lavender fields and
...a little more of the wensleydale that I have spun into a singles yarn
for finer knitting...
...and some of my yarn that I am knitting up into a soft, floaty
scarf/wrap.....one hank does all this and its not quite finished yet.
Hope you like, catch up soon.
